Horseback Riding

The girls received an horseback riding experience for Christmas from Aunty & Uncle.  We invited a friend of Natale's for her Birthday.

The whole group and our guides.  The one red headed guide blocked Natale in almost every picture.  We all had a blast.  the only complaint would have been how cold it was.  We will definitely be going back in the Spring!

A New Toy

Gram and Grandpa Bernie found a gently used mini jeep this past Fall.  Natale has been nagging her Grandpa about "taking forever" to get a battery and charger.  So they surprised the girls for Christmas.  Natale is on cloud nine and has a blast cruising in her new toy

SICK Days

We were ALL sick with a FLY bug from Sunday. December 15th to Tuesday December 24th.  The girls missed the last week of school before break. We fought off  high fevers, chills, achy bodies, coughs, sore throats, headaches and sniffles.  We pushed lots of Tylenol, Motrin, and cough syrup and took many baths.  On Friday the 20th, we trekked out in the first fallen snow and made it to the walk-in clinic.  $130.00 later.  Avery has pneumonia, Natale has a double ear infection and Mama is somewhere in the middle. We were now set to take some strong antibiotics for the next few days. On Tuesday the 24th was the first day that we hadn't needed to take a nap because of being so weak or exhausted.  We all lost a few inches because our appetites were non existent.  We missed out on a few Holiday traditions (baking cookies with GG and the cousins) and Mama didn't get to finish out peak season with UPS.  We are all feeling better now, but that stretch of illness/FLU is good and gone. 

Ugly Sweater Party

 

Joe and I made it to at least one Holiday Party this year.  We headed to Three Acre Woods with some friends and had an Ugly Sweater Party.  Michelle and Ben are always great hosts.  We had great food, belly laughs and many more memories!

Santa Visit

Joe took the girls to the Mall this evening to have a visit with Santa Claus

Avery asked for the Lego Friends, Olivia House and Natale asked for the Lego Friends Cruise ship and the American Girl Doll Julie Albright.
